The procedure for reviewing articles submitted to the scientific journal "Bulletin of Amanzholov University"
1 The articles submitted by the author(s) to the scientific journal “Bulletin of Amanzholov University” are necessarily sent for double-blind review.
2 The reviewer is selected by the deputy editor-in-chief of the journal after receiving the manuscript of the article and checking it for compliance with formal requirements, in accordance with the scientific direction and topic of the article from leading specialists with a degree from universities and scientific organizations.
3 The Editorial Board has the right to transfer the review of the article to leading specialists who do not have an academic degree corresponding to the scientific direction of the article.
4 The reviewer of the article cannot be its author (co-author).
5 After receiving the article, the reviewer must make an expert opinion (Appendix 4), which includes the following information:
5.1 the title match to the content of work (job title)
5.2 correctness (consistency) of the problem, the reflection of the main results and conclusions (abstract)
5.3 the openness and authenticity of the review of previous studies and publications on the problem, defining the purposes of the study, problem of the provisions of the expected results (introduction)
5.4 correctness (consistency) used by the author of research methods, the achievement of the objectives of the study and solution of the tasks, adherence to ethical standards and principles are met (research methodology)
5.5 clarity and logical sequence of the research results, their validity, scientific significance of the recommendations presented (results, conclusions of the study)
5.5 decision on recommendation or non-recommendation for publication
6 The reviewer can make the following recommendations for the publication of the article:
6.1 “The article may be recommended for publication” – if the manuscript does not contain errors, meets the requirements of relevance and originality of scientific research. In this case, the manuscript is included in the list of prospective publications in the journal;
6.2 “An article may be recommended for publication provided it is finalized in accordance with the reviewer’s comments.” In this case, the article is sent to the authors for revision. After receiving the revised text, the editorial board sends the article for review by the reviewer again. If the reviewer retains significant comments on the article, the article is rejected by the decision of the editorial board without the right to further revision.
6.3 “The article cannot be recommended for publication.” In this case, by the decision of the editorial board, the article is either rejected or sent for re-review, which is possible only once for this article.
7 In disputable cases, the article may be sent for additional review.
8 The article is sent to the author for revision in accordance with the comments of the reviewer (reviewers), if the comments made by the reviewer are removable. The editorial board reserves the right to refuse publication to the author who wishes to ignore the reviewer’s comments. The reviewer also has the right to conduct an additional check on the use of borrowings in the text of the publication through available Internet search engines.
9 The decision on the possibility and expediency (or impossibility and inexpediency) of publishing an article is made at the next meeting of the Editorial Board of the journal on the basis of the conclusions of the reviewers.
10 On the decision of the Editorial Board to publish or reject the article, a letter is sent to the authors on behalf of the editorial board to the email address of the author responsible for correspondence (corresponding author).
11 Prepress preparation of an article for publication is mandatory and consists in literary and technical editing, monitoring compliance with accepted standards of design and Rules for publishing articles in the journal. The editorial board may not coordinate with the authors the literary or technical correction of the articles. The editorial board does not enter into discussions with the authors of the articles.
